Took a few seconds to setup and worked great until I updated recently. Now it crashes constantly, especially when I try to access the settings menu.

Application not working on ipad too!

Works like a virutal remote. Update fixed the problem with crashes, now it works fine. Good customer help too. Get it!

App update crashes. It never worked even when its set to static ip. I want my fffff money back! The Software developers of this app are crap!

The remote at first closed a ton of times till I closed the auto connect window when I opened it. You have to enter the IP asters manually for it to work.

2nd review from me... First one was negative, but have since changed my opinion about this app. Developer contacted me directly about my problems & worked with me to resolve them. Since the most recent update app now works seamlessly with iPhone 4! Very happy with this app.. This virtual remote is worth well more than your 99 pennies!!! Buy it!

App crashes on start.

Simple, easy to use, no configuration required. I love the built in access to the keyboard on my iPad.... This makes searching for anything much easier on the WD TV Live Hub.... If it displayed media titles with scrapers I would give it six stars ;).

Will crash on you with in 5 seconds after opening. This stupid app screwed up my family movie night because I spent 1 hour searching on internet for a solution.... ended up downloading a FREE APP instead and it worked AWESOME right off the bat compared to this paid junk.. I say junk because you had to PAY for it AND on top of that it has issuses. They say you get what you paid for, in this case I paid for it and got bad results, download free ZappoTV and that saved our night. I Recommend ZappoTV instead.

I was originally using the remote from the web interface of the WDTV as a safari bookmark on the iPhone and it worked but wasnt great. I use the WDTV in multiple rooms with a HDMI splitter so the need for a wifi remote is a must! When looking for other apps for the WDTV I stumbled upon this and now could not go without it! Gives the ability to key in text and has tactile feedback. Also the zoomed in view is great! Have not had any problems at all. Did not use the auto detect and instead manually entered IP address. Setup was a snap and took just a few seconds! The WDTV responds very quickly too! Worth every cent!!

After reading a lot of reviews, I decided to take a chance and give this app a try. I was very disappointed as first, as when the app first launches it tries to auto detect and crashes right away. I was able to cancel the auto detection and manually input the ip address and now could not be happier now. The app os very quick and responsive with my WD TV Live Media Hub. I would recommend but would like to see the auto detection fixed.

Just send WD your $1 directly. Its easier and youll have saved yourself the hassle of even trying to get this non-functioning app to work. Bad. Bad. Bad. Im done with WD. Moving on.

The input keyboard still repeats text and or words over and over. Prb on iPad and iTouch -please fix this! Latest firmware update says fixed but it is not!

I have been using this app for a few nights now, and it is flawless. It auto-detects both my Live Hub (wired) and my Live (WiFi), and lets me select between the two. I would say to those that have problems to check your router settings, or as some have said, assign a static IP to the Hub and enter it manually in the app. If youre not that advanced, I would suggest thinking twice before trying this app, and certainly not reviewing it poorly if you cant figure it out. I am running the latest WD sanctioned firmware on both units and the newest ver of the app. I also have no problem with it repeating text or words.

Just what I was looking for. Works great and is much better than trying to use the device remote in my dark "man cave". Thanks to the developer. Those having problems must have router or firmware problems. Suggest you contact the author. Merry Christmas to all!

Some problems entering (from ipad keyboard) non-phone characters--for example, @ (at) and . (period) Work around possible but time consuming

Will not display the list of WD Live boxes, app crashes, hangs. New ipod2 up to date. Cant get it to do anything. I want my .99 cents back.

App crashes and has never worked on my iPad or iPhone 4s. I deserve a refund. Dont buy this.

Buyer beware. This app does not work. It crashes every time I open it. Waste!
